I’m sorry I do not understand “waste away”, I am in the Uk. I have tried different types of material as tight as possible but puckering occurs every time, especially with dense stitching. As my machine does pre-programmed designs I am unable to alter the tension. It is extremely disappointing. I have a Janome memory craft 9000 machine.I have looked everywhere for solutions that is why I left my message 5 months ago. Thank you for your reply, any further help would be greatly appreciated.

if you get the iron on waste away and make sure that the material is as tight as you can get it then just see if you need to adjust the tension so experiment first on an odd piece first then you will learn which suits you best
